Out & About Orlando is now 5 years old! We are a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Straight ally social and activities group. Our goal is to foster a fun, welcoming and respectful atmosphere where everyone is comfortable to share their thoughts, stories or opinions!
OAO consists of men and women ranging from their early 20s and up. All are welcome to participate in ice breaker social games and/or express their ideas, opinions and advice on discussion nights. At least once a quarter, we organize an activity or outing on the town (bowling, movie, live shows, etc.). Our most favored Thursdays are when a current member hosts an “If You Learn, Teach” night. This is a speaker series where we encourage members to share a professional expertise or talent that the group as a whole would enjoy and learn from.
We meet every Thursday at The Center, 7:30 PM sharp. Group discussions and games usually last about an hour; afterwards (optional) we often head out for dinner at a local restaurant. Hope to see you there…

Orlando Gay Parenting
We are an LGBT group of parents, expecting parents, and aspiring parents. Our mission is (1) to offer our kids the opportunity to get to know children from similar families, (2) to exchange insight and advice from personal experiences in various situations such as adoption and other legal procedures, pregnancy, and child-rearing, and (3) to simply provide a social atmosphere for non-traditional families to get together and have fun.
Our goal is to get together in a social setting once a month at various locations throughout the greater Orlando area. Living all across Central Florida, our members are located far and wide from Haines City, DeLand, Clermont, Cocoa, and everywhere in between.
If you identify as LGBT and you have children or are expecting a child, looking to adopt a child, or you’re just beginning the journey to build a family, we would love to meet you!
