The Center is pleased to present the debut of the party certain to become a much-anticipated annual event designed to celebrate diversity within our Central Florida Rainbow Community.
The BLACK and WHITE GALA is an opportunity for everyone to enjoy an upscale soirée’ reminiscent of a prom, or country club dance, but without the hundred dollar-plus price tag, or an off-putting dress code.
The organizers of the Gala have planned an elegant but decidedly non-stuffy affair with many special touches to make the evening memorable. Now all that is needed to complete the party is YOU!

On November 16, 2012, the First Annual Black and White Gala for the Benefit of The Center will be held at The Abbey. For the Gala we will providing a live band mixed in with local entertainment.
Formal attire will be optional and we are also working with local businesses to offer discounts on formal wear, evening wear, and limousine services, in addition to other promotional items.
Doors will open at 7:30 PM at The Abbey located 100 South Eola Drive #100 Orlando, Florida 32801.
The idea for the Gala is the brainchild of local attorney Gary Israel, who was a creative force behind several galas in the Palm Beach area before moving to Central Florida. Gary thought the Orlando area needed an event to christen the beginning of the holiday season and approached The Center as a partner and beneficiary of the event. So, after a seven-year absence, The Center is announcing its Signature Fundraising Event for the year.
The Abbey will be draped in Black, White, and Silver to kickoff this beautiful event for the holiday season.
VIP seating tickets will be $75 a person or $150 a couple. Regular tickets are $60 a person or $100 a couple.
There will be food and beverages along with special drink prices. In addition there will be a silent auction of exciting items that will be on display.
